  • This course is for IEI associates who are helping prepare our curriculum for English language learners and early readers. You will need an ID and Password for our website administrator in order to actually help build our online courses, beginning with our Audio-Visual Dictionary. Review this course and actually begin employing the techniques in helping build the Audio-Visual Dictionary. In the process of building this fairly simple audio-visual learning tool, you will build the skills necessary to create more complex multimedia online courses. To acquire the necessary ID and password, contact Executive Director Ken Harvey at Ken@world-institute.us

  • Learn to use our web conferencing system free of charge! As available, you can also use any of four web conference rooms for up to one hour at a time. We will expand these rooms as usage increases.

If you would like your own private web-conference center, we can set that up for you at a cost of less than $20 a month. With that low cost, you can meet with dozens of associates any time day or night, and you gain full control over the various functions described in our online video.

Every week we meet to learn more about online instructional tools and to make plans for improving this educational website. Feel free to join us on Saturdays at 7 a.m. Pacific (Los Angeles) time. Here is the web link. Your web-conferencing software will load automatically, and you will join our group, which includes educators from the U.S., Ecuador, Canada, Scotland, Turkey and Thailand.
